Established in February 1986, Nan’s Young Fashions is located in historic downtown Oxford, NC.  Nan Howells , founder,  her husband and 3 young daughters in tow moved from Durham, NC to Oxford (Nan’s hometown) to establish an exclusive children’s clothing shop.  While her husband commuted to his regular job, Nan’s goal was to build a business with a reputation for providing the community with quality children’s clothing  and superb customer service

With a successful business established, Nan’s husband, Robert, retired and joined her in the business.  Together they were able to expand the business to include more than 75 resources for clothing, accessories, shoes, and unique baby gifts including Christening gowns and special outfits or slip dresses for that  brand new baby.  Special services for the customers include free gift wrapping and registries for baby showers and birthdays.
